THE BUILDING PROCESS
Step 1: Establish your Budget
Knowing your budget is vital to the process of choosing the right piece of land and designing a home that fits your budget. Obtain mortgage pre-approval so that you know how much you can afford.
Step 2: Identify your Land
Find the property that you like and then let us help you make sure it will fit within your budget. The layout of your land can also impact what we have to work with when designing your home.
Step 3: Design your Home
We will work with you to design a floor plan that meets all of your needs. We will then help you through the process of choosing the finished look that you’ve always dreamed of.
Step 4: Finalize the Financing
After you have selected a floor plan and added your personal touches, and your site costs have been estimated, then your sales counselor will give you the final investment to build your dream home. We will then help you finalize your loan.
Step 5: Plans & Permits
Once the floor plan and design are finalized, the plans are sent to our engineer for prints, and then the blueprints are sent to the municipality for approval and permits. This takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks
Step 6: Site Preparation
Before the house can be built, the site needs to be excavated and utilities, such as electricity, water, and sewer/septic need to be put in place.
Step 7: Build your Home
Time to start building your home! Foundation, framing and windows, roof, heating, plumbing, electrical, insulation and drywall, cabinetry and interior finishes, paint, flooring, and exterior completion are all a part of this stage in the process.
Step 8: New Home Walk-Through
After building is completed, a final walk through is performed and and we will explain all of the features of your new home, as well as the limited warranty. When you move into your new home, it will definitely feel like the home of your dreams!
Step 9: Move In!!!
It is now time to move in and enjoy your brand new home!
